We are located in rural El Dorado County, California. Pleasant Valley is a small community nestled between the rolling foothills and the high Sierras at an elevation of 2500 feet.
We enjoy 4 distinct seasons. Simply put, a granger said, “Why should you want to go anywhere else when you live in paradise?”
Support a GREAT Network
The GREAT network (Grange Relief Emergency Action Team) provides assistance to Grangers within hours of a personal emergency or natural disaster. Check out the flyer for more information or their website at: www.Grange911.com
Packages and Prayers
The Pleasant Valley Grange Women's Activity started the Packages & Prayers project in 2003 to send packages to the troops overseas. The GWA has sent 1875 packages as of 8-10-2011. At present 15 packages are prepared each month on the second Wednesday at 10:30 AM. The major fundraiser to support our troops is the Spaghetti Dinner each year . The GWA serves great Spaghetti, Garlic bread, Salad and Dessert. Other fundraisers throughout the year are working at the Air Show in Sacramento and a flea market in October at Diamond Springs Sunday Flea Market. The Veterans Association and private citizens also donate to this project.

Buy our Cookbook
Our cookbook is available at our dinners as well as our monthly pancake breakfast. Cost is $10 per copy. Our cookbook includes some of our members' favorite recipes as well as general cooking and baking information.
Proceeds from this book go to support our Packages and Prayers program.
Pancake Breakfasts
Please join us every first Saturday of the month when the community gathers at the hall for our hearty pancake breakfast. Our pancake breakfast is $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for kids. We also offer biscuits and gravy for $3.00 for a full order and $2.00 for a half order. There is now a new healthy choice breakfast available as well. Doors open at 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Grange Business Meetings
Our Grange meets for its regular business meeting and potluck on the first Friday of every month. A Dessert potluck begins at 6:30 p.m. with business meeting to follow at 7:00 p.m. No business meeting in July.
Grange Family Night
Our Social Night is on the third Friday quarterly at 6:30p.m. with with a variety of entertaining and rewarding programs starting at 7:30p.m. The community is invited.
